Hello there! I’m Danielle Dominguez of ‘Dan Domi Travels’, a virtual place I’ve created to share travel writing and comfort food recipes. I am a (less) frustrated writer, who used to type out a whole lot of waffle under the guise of a recipe blog. I still love to cook, but I love words more, so this site has more of those, with some recipes on the side. I am an explorer at heart – of places, people and new experiences – and now have a 6-year-old sidekick with whom to share many of my discoveries and (mostly) joys. He and I live in a cosy apartment in inner city Melbourne, Australia, where we dream big and plot our adventures together, and little-by-little make these a reality.
When I am not writing, travelling or cooking, I most definitely practising yoga. In my new venture, Hikes for the Soul, I guide small groups on wilderness hikes that have a yoga flavour, weaving in meditation and breathwork for a truly beautiful and mindful nature experience. I am a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher of meditation, mantra, asana, kundalini kriya and pranayama, and continue my yoga study this year to bring greater depth to my offerings and share more of this beautiful work that is felt, feminine and what I believe the world needs now.
Thank you for reading!
